On August 21, the 2023 Shaanxi-Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan Higher Education Forum was held at the Qujiang International Conference Center. Vice President Fan Wen of our university was invited to attend the forum, accompanied by relevant staff from the Hong Kong Macao Taiwan Affairs Office.

The theme of this forum is "High level University Construction and Innovative Talent Training", with over 190 university representatives from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Shaanxi Province. The forum consists of three sub forums: high-quality education development and high-level university construction, industry education integration and science education integration, and innovative talent cultivation and practice. Twenty-two experts and scholars from universities in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, delivered reports on relevant topics, including two professors invited by our university, namely, professor Hu Zhiqing from Taiwan University and associate professor Zhu Pengyu from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Guests from different universities learned from each other and exchanged ideas. The act of jointly exploring the mechanisms and models for cultivating innovative talents has enhanced in-depth communication and cooperation between Shaanxi universities and universities in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.
