On November 20, Professor Fulu Mao, director of the international program of the School of Environment, University of Waterloo, Canada, visited our university at invitation. The head of the Office of the International Cooperation and Exchange and the School of Geological and Surveying and Mapping Engineering met with the guests.
The director of the Office of the International Cooperation and Exchange, Mr. Jiang zaiwen, extended a warm welcome to Professor Fulu Mao. He briefly introduced the basic situation of CHD and the cooperation between CHD and the University of Waterloo over the years. He hoped that through the visit of Professor Fulu Mao, the two universities could further promote the cooperation projects of the undergraduate double-degree experimental classes and further carry out more substantial cooperation, including teachers' visits, students' exchanges and scientific research cooperation.
Fulu professor Mao thanked for the warm reception. He introduced the recent situation of the University of Waterloo, and focused on the basic situation of majors of School of Environment and agreed with director Jiang's idea of cooperation exchanged views on the undergraduate courses experimental classes with director Jiang.
After the meeting, Professor Fulu Mao went to Ming Yuan Building to give a briefing session on the"2+2 undergraduate double degree program of University of Waterloo, Canada".
