From June 14th to 16th, the 2019 World Transport Convention (WTC) hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Transport and the Chinese Academy of Engineering was held at the Beijing National Convention Center. The theme of the conference was “Smart Green Leads the Future”. traffic". The Meeting

The conference focused on creating 54 theme forums, 533 keynote speeches, 849 lectures on special forums, 317 reports on wall reports, and a total of 1699 academic reports. Around security and sustainability, big data applications, autonomous driving and road coordination, integrated management, smart city, intelligent transportation, green development, BIM technology, long bridge detection and monitoring, coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau The major strategies and major forward-looking technical issues in the areas of regional integration of the Yangtze River Delta, the construction of the Xiong'an New Area, the practice of transportation power, and the future traffic trends reflect the latest scientific and technological achievements, levels and development trends in the world's transportation sector.

Nearly 600 teachers and graduate students of the conference attended the conference, and more than 420 papers were submitted, and 12 papers were awarded excellent papers. In the theme forum and special forum of the conference, 15 professors of our school served as the moderator, 178 people to do the special forum report, and the wall newspaper showed 109 academic papers. Six professors of our school are members and chairmen of the organizing committee and academic committee of the conference, and 40 teachers serve on the technical committee.

The conference hosted the 2019 World Transport Conference for International Students, which was hosted by our school. More than 30 international students from our school attended the conference and exchanged. The forum received 29 outstanding students from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Tongji University, Southeast University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Southwest Jiaotong University. After the selection of international students' papers, nine outstanding Chinese students from Pakistan, Indonesia, Iran, Nepal, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Congo (Brazzaville) and other “Belt and Road” countries made a podium report, and the remaining 20 students made wall posters.
