On the afternoon of June 25th, Prof. Yang Hong, Vice President of Bryant University, USA, was invited to visit our university. Vice President Zhao Xiangmo met with the visitors in the VIP room of the Academic Exchange Center. The principals of the International Department and the Resource College accompanied the meeting.

The meeting

Vice President Zhao Xiangmo welcomed Vice President Yang Hong's visit. He briefed the guests on the development of the university around the "double first-class" construction in terms of personnel training, teacher team building, scientific research, international exchanges and cooperation, and highlighted the university's role in the discipline, closely integrating the national and local major strategies and industries. Demand, played an important role in the field of national infrastructure construction, and combined with the research field of Vice President Yang Hong, introduced the development of the geological resources and geological engineering disciplines of our university. He pointed out that the university has always been committed to international development and cherishes the in-depth cooperation with internationally renowned universities with long-term partnerships such as Bryant University. He hopes that with the visit of Vice President Yang Hong as an opportunity, on the basis of existing cooperation, the two universities will further expand cooperation and exchanges in more fields and deeper levels.

Vice President Yang Hong expressed sincere gratitude to the warm reception of our university and expressed appreciation for the outstanding contribution made by our university in the field of infrastructure construction. We agreed with Vice President Zhao Xiangmo on the basic concept of strengthening cooperation and exchanges between the two sides. He briefly introduced the development of Bryant University. He pointed out that Chang'an University is located in Xi'an, a world famous cultural city. It has profound historical and cultural heritage, outstanding geographical development advantages, distinctive professional disciplines and great potential for cooperation between the two sides.
