On the morning of September 5, 2018, Professor Nenad Gucunski, chairman of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rutgers University, was invited to visit our school. Sha Aimin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the school, met with visitors in the VIP room of the Academic Exchange Center. The International Cooperation and Exchange Office and the relevant person in charge of the Highway College met with him.
Deputy Secretary Sha Aimin welcomed Professor Nenad Gucunski's visit. He briefly introduced the school's development history, school scale, subject characteristics and personnel training, and highlighted the school's role in the discipline and promoted the personnel training in the national infrastructure construction industry. And the responsibility and outstanding contribution made in the construction of major projects. He pointed out that the school has always been committed to promoting the international development strategy, and is very happy to work with internationally renowned universities such as Rutgers University to learn from each other's strengths and seek common development. The Meeting
Professor Nenad Gucunski expressed sincere gratitude to the warm reception of our school, expressed appreciation for the contribution of our school in the field of national infrastructure construction, and briefly introduced the basic situation of Rutgers University. He pointed out that Rutgers University is a unique university in the United States, and it has many similarities with our school.
