On the morning of July 3, 2018, the opening ceremony of the Ministry of Education's Taiwan Education Exchange Program, the second session of the “Straits Cross-Strait Silk Road Cultural Exchange Research and Visiting Camp” was held at the Academic Exchange Center of the School. Sha Aimin, deputy secretary of the party committee, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.

Deputy Secretary Sha Aimin warmly welcomed the visits of teachers and students from Taiwan universities. He pointed out that the two sides of the Taiwan Straits share the same origin and the Chinese culture is in the same vein. The teachers and students of Taiwan's sister universities should visit the mainland of the motherland and visit the ancient city of Xi'an to deepen exchanges. He introduced the basic situation of the development of our school to the visiting teachers and students, and highlighted the exchanges and cooperation with Taiwan's sister universities. It is hoped that in the future exchanges and exchanges, the two sides will pay more attention to the exchanges and interactions between teachers and students, especially young students, further enhance the level and level of exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, and continuously promote cross-strait educational and cultural communication. 25 teachers and students from five universities including Tsinghua University, Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Feng Chia University,AletheiaUniversity and Golden Gate University from Taiwan participated in the opening ceremony.
The 2nd "Straits Cross-Strait Silk Road Cultural Exchange Research and Visit Camp" project is the second educational exchange program of the Ministry of Education hosted by the University. It aims to implement the central government's policy and work arrangements for Taiwan and deepen the communication of teachers and students between universities in Taiwan and the Mainland. The project will be launched on July 3, 2018, and will end on July 9. The whole event will be held in the form of Chinese traditional culture theme lectures, cross-strait teacher-student exchanges and traditional cultural visits.
