In May 10th, the opening ceremony of the "2018 Silk Road education cooperation forum" was held in Xi'an. Tova Larissa, vice president of the State Duma Education Committee of Russia, Gao Yang, Deputy Secretary General of the provincial government and Wang Jianli, director of the Education Department of Shaanxi Province, attended the opening ceremony.University representatives from more than 20 countries and regions such as Pakistan, Poland, Russia, the United States, Germany, Australia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Serbia, Thailand, Hongkong, China Taiwan and more than 400 representatives oflocal universities and collegesalso attended the opening ceremony. Chen Feng, the president of Chang’an University, was invited to attend the meeting. The meeting was host by Zhao Changbao, deputy director of the Education Department of Shaanxi Province.

Under the entrustment of the Deputy Secretary General of Shaanxi province, Gao Yang, announced the opening of the conference, and Wang Jianli, director of the provincial education department, made a keynote speech.
At the opening ceremony, President Chen Feng and Rector Abdykalykov of Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture n.a. N. Isanov signed acooperation agreement on behalf of the two schools respectively. Our Korean professor Zhang Zhongxue was awarded as "The Belt and Road" cooperative education contribution award. After the opening ceremony, President Chen Feng and Rector Abdykalykov accepted the interview of Shaanxi TV.

Before the meeting, Abdykalykov, rector of Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture n.a. N. Isanov, was invited to visit Chang’an University. President Chen Feng met with Rector Abdykalykov at theacademic exchange center. The heads of the President Office, International Office and School of Highway attended the meeting.

President Chen Feng gave a warm welcome to the rector Abdykalykov Chen Feng mentioned that Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture n.a. N. Isanov is a world-renowned university and had some commons with Chang’an University. The current "The Belt and Road” construction has made considerable progress in the Central Asian countries. He hoped that the two schools will strengthen communication and exchanges in the future, take the joint training of students as the driving force, and expand exchanges and cooperation in teaching, scientific research and other fields.President.
Rector Abdykalykov expressed his appreciation for the reception and agreed the design of cooperation. And he appreciated President Chen Feng’s idea on cooperation of the two universities. He expressed that the Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture n.a. N. Isanov had been attaching importance to cooperation with Chang’an University, and the university had been working on implement and pushing on cooperation consensus of two universities. He also extended his purpose to establish research center, cultivate master and PhD students by the two universities.

During the visit, deputy secretary Sha Aimin had a discussion withRector Abdykalykov on the specific cooperation between the two schools. Rector Abdykalykov also visited the relevant laboratories of Chang’an University, and had a conversation with the leaders of the School of Highway, the teachers and students about the development of the specification forthe design and construction of Highway in China.
