On July 13th, outstanding overseas alumnus Mr. Zhang Yujiang, director of Security Line Department of American National Railway Administration, was invited to visit alma mater. President Chen Feng and Vice President Zhao Junhai had a meeting with Director Zhang Yujiang at the Guet Hall, accompanied by the chief directors of President’s Office, International Cooperation Office and
School
of
Automobile
.
President Chen Feng welcomed the visit of director Zhang Yujiang and congratulated on his achievements, and extended thanks to the long-term support to Chang’an University. Presidents Chen Feng gave a brief introduction to the achievements of the discipline construction, scientific research, and international cooperation of the university, and the basic development thought and important stragety of the first class discipline construction. He had a deep discussion with Director Zhang Yujiang on strengthening contact with overseas alumi and striving to promote the international cooperation and high level overseas talent employment.
Director Zhang Yujiang extended gratitude towards the warm reception, and expressed admiration to the development ideas and integrated planning put forward by President Chen Feng. He said that it was quite excited to come back to his alma mater, and felt proud of the development of the university. He shared the working and life experiences at abroad and recalled the precious time in Chang’an University and he said that he would strengthen the contact with other overseas alumni and spare no effort to contribute to promoting the international fame and the Double First-rate Discipline construction.
During the visit, director Zhang Yujiang had a discussion with directors and faculty members of

, and gave distinctive opinions on the discipline development of
School
of
Automobile
form his own work experience and research.
Doctor Zhang Yujiang, graduated from automobile engineering department of the former Xi’an Highway University in 1982, and then got his master degree in
University
of
New South Wales
in
Australia
and his doctor degree in Queensland University of Technology in
Australia
. He has published more than 50 papers on international prestigious journals and important academic conferences, and one of the papers got the WebbPrize Paper award by English Civil Engineers Association. He was once the director engineer of NSK, now works as the director of Security Line Department of American National Railway Administration.
