On the February 20th2017, Prof.Farshad Fotouhi, dean of the Engineering College of Wanye State University, USA visited our university. Vice President Zhao Junhai welcomed the guests at the Academic Exchange Center, accompanied by heads of the International Office, School of Highway, School of Civil Engineering, and School of Economics and Management.
Vice President Zhao extended his warm welcome to the arrival of Prof.Farshad Fotouhi and briefly introduced the college from the perspective of school size, characteristic of subjects, and cultivation of talents. Also, he introduced international exchanges in detail. He hoped that through this visit, both parties can further the cooperation in every field and gain substantial progress in joint training, scientific cooperation and etc.
Prof.Farshad Fotouhi expressed his appreciation for the reception and briefly introduced Wanye State University. Besides he emphatically introduced the discipline distribution and international cooperation of the Engineering College. Then he endorsed the cooperation of two parties and said the two universities had a lot in common like subjects, international exchanges and so on. He also hoped the two parties can build the comprehensive cooperation relations.
After the meeting, the two parties discussed more in joint training, staff exchanges, scientific cooperation and other details. They reached a consensus and hoped the all-round cooperation protocol can be signed as soon as possible.
During the visit, Prof.Farshad Fotouhi and his colleagues held academic lectures and visited laboratories in School of Highway, School of Civil Engineering, and School of Economics and Management.
