On the January 3rd2017, Prof. Min An, Chief Scientist of the UK National Rail Company Research and Development Center and the Associate Dean of the School of Architecture and Environment of University of Salford, were invited to visit our university. Vice President Zhao Junhai welcomed the guests in the Guest Hall at the Academic Exchange Center, accompanied by the Jiang Zaiwen, the director of the International Office and Prof. Wu Tao, the Dean of the School of Civil Engineering.
Vice President Zhao expressed a warm welcome to the arrival of the Prof. Min An and introduced the basic information of Chang’ an University from the school scale, characteristic of the disciplines and talent training, highlighted the situation of the international exchanges. He pointed out that international cooperation and development has become one of the major development strategies of the school, the school attaches great importance to cooperation and exchanges with educational research institutions around the world, and strive to improve the level of international cooperation and exchange through teacher visits, student co-cultivation, . He hoped that through the visit of the delegation led by Prof. Min An as an opportunity to further promote the two sides in more areas, Enhance mutual trust, and strive to promote the establishment of comprehensive cooperation between the two sides.
Prof. Min An expressed his appreciation for the warm reception of our school and introduced the basic information of University of Salford on the school history, campus distribution, characteristic of disciplines and the development of internationalization.
