On the December 5th2016, the delegation led by the Executive Vice President Edgar Nesamvuni of Tshwane University of Technology were invited to visit Chang’ an University. Vice President Zhao Junhai welcomed the guests in the Guest Hall at the Academic Exchange Center, accompanied by Xu Haicheng, the dean of School of Economics and Management, and Li Xijian, the dean of the School of International Education.
Vice President Zhao expressed a warm welcome to the visit of Executive Vice President Edgar Nesamvui, and introduced the basic situation of Chang’ an University on the history development, school scale, characteristic of disciplines, development prospects and personal training, mainly introduces the basic situation of foreign cooperation in the field of scientific research, especially in highway transportation and construction engineering. He pointed out that Our University's road traffic, land resources and environment, urban and rural construction and other disciplinary fields have very obvious characteristics, the University attaches great importance to exchanges and cooperation with Tswana University of Technology, hoping to through the teachers visit, students joint training, and other forms of bilateral cooperation and exchanges to continue enhance the level of communication. He hoped that this visit will further promote the pragmatic cooperation and inter-school exchanges between the two sides in more areas and in a deeper level.
Vice President Edgar Nesamvuni thanked our university for its hospitality. He briefly introduced the development of South Africa's Tshwane University of Technology, represented two schools there are many similarities, subject areas has broad prospects for cooperation. He hoped to further expand cooperation and exchanges in more fields on the basis of the current cooperation between the two universities.
After the meeting, Vice President Edgar Nesamvuni and his party visited the School of Economics and Management, and conducted in-depth exchanges on the specific cooperation contents of the two sides and reached a broad consensus.
