On September 10, 2015, five people of the delegation of Korean Samsung SDS Company led by the Executive Director Zheng Xi’mu visit our university. Vice President Zhao Jun’hai holds a conference with the guests in the Extinguished Guest Hall at the Academic Exchange Center. The leaders of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and those of School of Information as well as Korean Professor Zhang Zhong’xue attend the meeting.
Vice President Zhao Jun’hai extends a warm welcome to the visitors and gives an brief introduction to Chang’an University from the perspectives of the historical development, the teaching scale, the discipline characteristics and academic research. He puts great emphasis on the international strategies especially the international relations with South Korean universities. He says that we have established all-around university-wide cooperative relations with many well-known Korean universities in areas of students’ exchange, faculties’ exchange and cooperative research, etc. With the settlement of Samsung Corperation in Xi'an, we will speed up the Dual Degrees Nurturing Programme with Korean universities to train the interdisciplinary talents with Korean background who can meet the demands of the Samsung Corperation in Shaan'xi Province. He hopes that, through this visit, a comprehensive cooperation can be reached with Sangsung Corporation by furthering mutual understanding. In this way, a tri-level Industry-university cooperation can be reached between Sino-Korean Universities and Sangsung Corperation.
Mr. Zhang Xi’mu expresses thanks for our warm reception and gives a brief introduction of the development of Samsung Corperation to Vice President Zhao Jun’hai. He approves of the cooperation plan suggested by Mr. Zhao Junhai and expresses his expectation for the all around cooperation with us.
After the meeting, the delegation of Sangsung Coperation led by Mr. Zheng Xi’mu have a tour of the sand table and the laboratory at School of Information Engineering with the accompany of Vice President Zhao Jun’hai.
